Product Development - Electrical/Electronics - ADAS
To guarantee, supported by the ADAS Team, the development of the whole project/internal process of relevant components/systems, consistently with the quality, performance, timing and cost targets assigned To participate, with pre-development team, to the handover phase of relevant components/systems for what concern technical solutions and corresponding performance, timing and cost targets To ensure the completeness/availability of all documents necessary for sourcing start-up (sourcing package) and to keep them up to date and consistent with sourcing closing To contribute, together with the people in charge (Project Responsible, Test Plan Manager), to the technical validation plan definition of ADAS systems (reducing to the minimum the test loops), to test review management and issue resolution according to the model time schedule To ensure during all project development, the technical feasibility, the correct installation, the design robustness, the component manufacturability and the compliance of technical documentation, through the coordination of engineering and product suppliers To manage, together with Design Responsible, the design/installation FMEAs execution performing the risk assessment and to provide support during process FMEAs execution To make available the documentation necessary to implement technical modifications, to request their economical evaluations, to support Project Responsible during the approval phase and to guarantee the associated drawings release. To monitor, through the accountable departments, their application in production accordingly to time schedule To ensure the completeness/availability of all documents necessary for tooling release To carry out, with the help of ADAS specialists. The diagnostic activities on the relevant systems/components and provide engineering support in problem solving activities at the assembly plant from pilot phase through launch
Master's Degree in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering Related work experience of at least 4+ years in automotive industry Team-working ability Project Management skills Organizational skills Flexibility/Speed Proficiency in English Availability to travel Knowledge of Software could be a plus: Canape, Canalyzer, Dianalyzer, INCA
Body Unit - Electromechanics Specialist Modena
Support engineering and development activities (projects and platforms) of Glazing, Mirrors, Wipers Systems, Sunroof, from concept until the SOP. Define and execute Maserati Innovation projects in order to implement into Product Development, innovative products, processes and technologies; Carry out technology and process scouting for the definition of next-generation of products To provide technical leadership of specific systems assuring that design rules are followed and design practices are implemented: This includes base architecture and geometry development and innovation, and virtual and physical validations (Design FMEA, Design Verification Plan and Report).
MAIN TASKS Execution of robust, quality, cost and weight efficient designs that meet program objectives. Lead role in supporting the execution of component standardization, design verification plan, design rule harmonization, and lessons learned. Accountable for the development and execution of requirements for their respective commodity(s) and application. Conduct commodity benchmarking activities for their area linked to the program(s). Ensure application of corporate technical best practices and complexity strategies for each commodity. Execute responsible component commonality, re-uses with consistency across vehicle lines (including fasteners and Joint designs). Provide technical solutions and support the PC in technical interfaces with PDO (product design office) and Advanced Engineering. Support the Exterior System Responsible in new innovation component activities. Support the Exterior System Responsible in implementing weight reduction strategies. Support the Exterior System Responsible in developing & maintaining System and Component/ Product Engineering level functional objectives, DFMEA’s, DVP&R’s, PSI, performance standards, and process standards. Define component and system test plans and review/sign-off on results for all program(s). Review and approve all the types of component proposals and request for changes and verify best practice read across and technical integrity. Own compliance reports, Owner’s Manual and Service Manual content. Validate & release technical cost reduction solutions.
REQUIREMENTS Engineering Degree or equivalent experience; 2-4 years in automotive engineering, in OEMs or in Tier1 suppliers or in engineering companies, with minimum experience in Body components development; Basic knowledge of Siemens Nx.
One or more of the following technical skills are required:Knowledge of glazing components product and production processes; Knowledge of automotive Electronic control units development and management; Experience on validation of electrical/electronic systems; Knowledge of FMEA.

ADAS Specialist - Vehicle Integration & Validation Modena
MAIN TASKS To support Performance Engineers in target setting and waterfall process starting from the Customer Car Profile (Target Vehicle). To develop and Validate ADAS systems performances on vehicles To support Performance Engineers on diagnosis activities related to specific systems To support Performance Engineer in virtual and experimental performance’s development plan definition managed through the Integrated Test Plan (PSI). To ensure the ADAS systems calibration in collaboration with other department and system suppliers To collect objective data to quantify the subjective feeling, or to clarify the gap between the status and the goal/target when necessary To create knowhow of ADAS features and to support road map development To create benchmark on main ADAS systems and features of competitors
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering related work experience of at least 2 (+) years in companies with a premium / luxury brand positioning a major plus Market knowledge of competitive automotive ADAS system, market trends and safety protocols (e.g. Ncap, IIHS, NHTSA ) knowledge of automotive dynamics and vehicle engineering variables affecting performance Skills of data acquisition and instrumentation including CANape, Canalyzer, Dianalyzer Technical report writing, analytical thinking, and ability to make concise recommendations to management Subjective driving skills Proficiency in English (German could be a plus) Team-working ability Organizational skills Flexibility/Speed
