Tetra Pak Development & Engineering organization seeks to achieve value-driven innovation by defining new concepts, developing new technologies and scouting for partnerships.
Within Sealing Solutions & Materials Engineering, the “Sealing Technologies” team is now looking for a Development Engineer who can help develop power electronics supporting our core technologies for package sealing in Tetra Pak filling machines.
You will be part of a team of technology experts working to design and develop electronic components. As a Development engineer, you will be responsible to design and develop innovative solutions based on technical specifications in the relevant competence area.
You will be End to End responsible from component design through component lifecycle managing supply chain. Robust design principles are important corner stones and strongly embedded in our work.
The position is based in Modena (Italy) and reports to the Sealing Technologies Manager.
The successful candidate should demonstrate to have these competences:
Documented Experience with hardware simulation and design tools Good knowledge in electronic board design related to embedded (Analog and Digital) Capability to support hardware requirements definition and documentations (PCB requirement and specifications, BoM, Versioning,…) Basic Knowledge of C language and Microcontrollers programming (low level driver, Communications Bus e.g. CAN, IIC, Ethernet, Bootloader,…) Good knowledge of laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscope, load analyser, ...) Experience on Magnetic components design like Power Transformers It will be considered a plus:
Knowledge on EMC, ESD, tests and Documentation for CE Marking regulation Knowledge in Power Converter systems Experience on power electronic design for Industrial application (i.e. high frequency Converter or High Voltage Generator)
Language and Education:
The successful candidate has a Master of Science degree or higher education in electronics engineering or equivalent with strong competence in the area of hardware electronics design. Good written and spoken English is required.
As an individual, you have strong personal drive and are independent in the exploration of the given task, taking initiatives and proposing solutions and actions. Since you will work in a multi-national environment, you are a team-player able to collaborate with your colleagues.

What will you do
As SCO Cluster Analyst you will be part of the Business Controlling team supporting the Supply Chain Organisation in Cluster E&CA. The main purpose of the team is to provide fact-based support to Supply Chain Operations managers ‘decisions.You will focus on:
Handling factory reporting activities (eg.: Costing, KPI); Supporting Cluster SCO Business controlling activities: organizing reporting/forecasting/budgeting and aggregating local reporting for analysis purposes; Supporting factories with cost-loss deployments tools; Create business cases and provide fact-based support to SCO managers' decisions; Leading and improving practices in the SCO business controlling team with the aim of providing optimal business support: organize knowledge sharing; drive improvement activities (improve data reliability, cost-loss intelligence, cost optimization processes)
This position can be located in any factory location in Europe & Central Asia
